Our friends at Out Since Tuesday, paired up with Mother London, for a one off exlusive live show, to launch the new Galaxy Z Flip 3. We got asked to come on board andn produce a live multi cam edit of the exlcusive set, performed by Yungblud. The show took place at the unique and new Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross. Situated infront of the flag ship Samsung stoere.
We had an absolute blast pulling this one off. And managed to incorporate many great production tricks and gather the old gang up for a get together.
The approach to this was unique, in that we had only a short period of pre-production before the big day. Initially, we knew we had to capture the live show, in particular, a song that was a collaboration between Aries Moras and Yungblud which geatured the london gospel choir. This was the hero song, so our shots and choregraphy leading up to it was essential in captyring the essence. Fortunately, we had the duration of the show to ease into our flow, and then get into gear ready for the ending finale.
After meeting with various other teams involved, it became clear, we needed to think more about how we were going to capture this. For this event, we worked closely with Black Skull Media, who designed and produced the LED video wall/IMAG elements. They too were using cameras to relay back on to the LED wall, and were processing these live. We ended up sharing some feeds for multiple distribution across the capture and the live relay, which resulted in some incredible looking shots!
Creative approach to every project
We always strive to take the most creative and organic approaches to our projects and this really paid off! Agency, client and team smashed every part of the process and walked away with another incredible event in our bag.
